Whistler and Winter Break

Happy new year! (A little late...)
I have lots of good updates to blog about but we are going to start by backing up to talk a little about christmas break adventures. Upon arriving home to k-town a gaggle of us friends and families took off to Whistler BC for several days of mountain adventures. I don't ski or snowboard, but I had a lovely time anyway. We had 2 houses at the edge of Whistler village. I did things like build snowmen/dinosaurs, watch crazy tricks, ride the gondola to the top of the mountain and admire at gorgeous snowyness, knit, cook, and have dance parties.

So that was a good time. Christmastime was nice, it was really good to be home and with the family. Louisa and George were in town and it was fun to see them. And of course I miss my mommy daddy and sissy tons, and I wish I could spend more time with them. This is our nice family picture during our Christmas eve brunch at the Nickums. (Notice that mom is IN the picture!!)

New years wasn't too eventful but the party I went to in Seattle at Dylan and Jessie's apartment was a dress to impress theme, so it was fun to get all dressed up. Ross and Daniel missed the memo, they thought it was a dress like Indiana Jones theme. HAR HAR HARRR

More to come soon on classes and school and life.
